ABOUT US!
30'S YEARS OF BUSINESS
AND mORE
Where it Started....
Our journey in Powell River (Qathet) began back in 1995, when we decided to make this beautiful place our home.
we fell in love with the trees, the beaches, the fresh air and water. and most of all the kindness of the people who look out for one another in this community.
What we Discovered
When we settled in, we knew we wanted to open a store, but we weren't sure what to offer at first.
Over time, we noticed many people were searching for Asian ingredients, spices, and unique flavors to add something special to their meals. As more customers came to us asking for different ingredients, our store naturally grew into a place filled with spices and foods from around the world.
How we Can Help You
Looking ahead, our hope is to continue bringing even more flavors, cultures, and beverages to Powell River (Qathet).
Giving our community even more delicious choices to explore and enjoy.
why we do what we do
Since opening our Asian grocery store, our family has been able to share what we know best - authentic Asian food. Over the years, we've also taken classes and learned from other cultures so we can help our customers understand how to cook different dishes with confidence.
Today, our shelves go for beyond Asian cuisine. You'll find a mix of flavors from Mexican, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Filipino, Indian, and many other international kitchens. We love learning about food from around the world and bringing that variety to our community.
